Perfect to satisfy your kids sweet tooth, healthy to use as a full of energy after school snack, and ideal to help your kids with constipation problems. And as always…very very easy.
Hands on: 20 minutes
Portion: 40 chocolate prunes

Ingredients
40 pitted prunes
40 roasted almonds
400gr. dark chocolate
How to do it
Stuff each prune with an almond using your hands and set aside.
Melt chocolate in a double boiler (bain marie) or microwave and dip each prune until coated.
Set on parchment paper until the chocolate hardens
Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
Tips
I do not soak the pitted prunes because the ones I use are very soft. If yours aren’t let them soak in water or liquer (not recommended for kids) for at least a day. Then take them out and allow them to dry well on a clean kitchen towel.
You can place the chocolate prunes in festive candy cups.
