The easiest and most delicious popcorn treats with white chocolate that no one can resist.
Hands on: 10 minutes
50 g popped popcorn
125 g white chocolate couverture
pinkfood coloring paste or gel food coloring
some colored chocolate truffles
How to do it
Melt the chocolate (cut in pieces) in top of a double boiler over simmering water (bain marie), stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula, until the mixture is creamy. You can do it in your microwave too (at 500W for 1.5minutes).
Use a toothpick to pick up a little bit of food coloring paste, add the color to the melted chocolate bowl and mix thoroughly with a silicon spatula or a plastic spoon. If you use a gel food coloring, add 3-4 drops in your melted chocolate and stir until it becomes pink.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper and spread the popped popcorn.
Drizzle the color of melted chocolate all over the surface.
Add some colorful chocolate truffles over the popcorn.
Serve immediately in small bowls.
Or allow the mixture to cool so that the popcorn can stick together.
Then break the popcorn treats in pieces and serve.
You can use any food color you like or different food colors for more fun. Just divide your melted chocolate into 2 or more separate bowls and add at each bowl a different food coloring.
